GBT SUMMIT 2026 | WISŁA, MAY 29–30, 2026

MEET THE SPEAKERS

Two days of knowledge, hands-on practice, and inspiration delivered to the GBT standard — GBT Summit 2026 in Wisła is just around the corner! We are pleased to introduce the first three local speakers who will take the stage in Wisła on May 29–30 and share insights from their everyday clinical practice.

Marija Pšelenskė | Dental Hygienist | Swiss Dental Academy Trainer | Lithuania

Marija Pšelenskė is a dental hygienist and the first certified Swiss Dental Academy Trainer in the Baltic States. In her daily work, she performs preventive and non-surgical periodontal therapy according to the GBT protocol, with a strong focus on the oral microbiome and biofilm “reprogramming.”

Lecture: From Biofilm to Podium: How GBT Helps People Perform at Their Best — from Society to Olympians

Working closely with a sports dentist, Marija bridges preventive dentistry and high-performance care. Her lecture will show how precision, gentleness, and predictability of GBT support not only everyday patients — but also elite athletes striving for peak performance.

Lita Spulle | Dental Hygienist | Swiss Dental Academy Trainer | Latvia

Lecture: From Fear to Trust: Transforming the Patient Experience Through Guided Biofilm Therapy

Fear of dental treatment remains one of the biggest barriers to oral health. In this lecture, Lita Spulle demonstrates how Guided Biofilm Therapy fundamentally changes the patient journey — from anxiety to trust. Through real clinical cases, she shows how pain-free technology, clear education, and empathetic communication help patients feel safe, respected, and motivated.

Attendees will learn how each GBT appointment can become a moment of emotional connection, improving compliance, loyalty, and long-term relationships.

Julia Sekeržitski | Dental Hygienist | Swiss Dental Academy Trainer | Estonia

Lecture: A Unified Protocol for Pediatric Prevention Based Around GBT

In her lecture, Julia Sekerzitzki addresses one of the biggest challenges in pediatric dentistry today: the lack of a unified, prevention-driven approach shared by hygienists, pediatric dentists, and orthodontists. Too often, families receive mixed messages, early lesions are monitored instead of treated, and minimally invasive opportunities are missed.

Julia presents a clear, evidence-based preventive protocol built around Guided Biofilm Therapy as the gold standard. She explains how regular GBT sessions, combined with early diagnosis of white spot lesions, ICON infiltration, remineralization strategies, and consistent parental guidance, create a complete and non-invasive pathway for managing MIH and early caries.

HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS

GBT Summit 2026 is more than just lectures! Every participant will take part in two-hour hands-on workshops led by Swiss Dental Academy certified trainers — international experts in the GBT protocol.

The workshop “GBT Professional Prophylaxis and Effective Management of Periodontal Patients” will be entirely dedicated to practical clinical work based on the GBT protocol, with a strong focus on periodontal patient care — from appointment planning and patient communication to building long-term cooperation and compliance.

These are practical skills and knowledge you can implement in your practice from day one after the event!
